KMP expressway is a peripheral road which is being built around the Delhi NCR. It is bringing many real estate projects with and has a major hand in the development of real estate in Sonepat. The private real estate projects in Sonipat are being mostly developed adjacent to the expressway in Sonepat and this area is being developed heavily by private builders. All the major real estate projects in Sonepat are developed nearby the KMP expressway as it is considered to be a major advantage to have a property near the expressway due to its connectivity to all the Delhi NCR areas such as Gurgaon, Noida, Faridabad and Ghaziabad.

Also there is a global corridor being planned along the KMP Expressway which will house many types of industries in it. 

KMP Expressway is a project which is surely proving to be a boon for the real estate sector in Sonipat and when complete will be major pull for the people of nearby areas to migrate to Sonipat. It should have been complete till now according to the original plans but due to some technical problems it is being delayed regularly and is hoped to be operational within a year or so.
