Similarly private developers develop a piece of land of their real estate project to provide for affordable low cost home and sell them on lottery basis scheme to its customers. These are basically apartments with built up area of 30sq. yards to 50 sq. yards. In Sonipat these types of apartments are being developed by the TDI group in TDI city Kundli and by the Parsvnath group in Parsvnath city in Sonipat city. 

Apart from these the local areas where low cost houses are available because of the low cost of real estate in these areas are the areas on the outskirt of Sonipat district and in villages in Sonipat. These areas are quite cheap but most of these areas lack basic facilities such as proper sewage disposal facilities and proper water and electricity supply.
