  A Law University to be Established in Rajiv Gandhi Education city, Sonipat

Law University is going to be established in Haryana in the Rajiv Gandhi Education city in Sonipat. It will impart comprehensive legal education to provide excellence in all branches of law and its allied disciplines. The bill was passed in the Haryana Vidhan Sabha recently to establish this university in the state.

Of the total seats in the university a minimum of 25% seats for admission shall be reserved for the Haryana domiciles out of which one-fifth of the seats will be reserved for the wards of land owners whose land was acquired for the project. The admissions in these reserved seats will be given on the basis of the merit in common law admission test. There is a dire need for quality law professionals in the country to improve the legal and civil system in India and this is only possible by increasing the law education in India and providing top class law education to the law students. Currently there are about 14 Law Universities all across the country that has established a great name in India and abroad and this number is needed to be increased in order to achieve the goal.

The honorable Governor of Haryana will be the chancellor of the university. The Law University will be established in the Rajiv Gandhi Education city which itself is declared as the biggest education hub in Asia. This will further boost the credibility of project.

The university will impart quality education in the field of law and its allied fields. The university will have top class infrastructure and facilities in it for the students and it will further enhance the law system of India. Sonipat is always considered to be an educational hub even earlier and this project will also boost the status of Sonipat as an education hub further. This is also going to increase the real estate demand in the area and will improve the infrastructure of the area which is already hailed as the next Gurgaon of Haryana through its developments in the field of real estate and industrialization. People are already attracted to the area for real estate investments as well as for the residential destination near Delhi and NCR. Projects like this are very much welcomed in the area as it has both land and infrastructure to accommodate these kinds of projects.
